What We Do 

The Strategic Transactions team (STT) is responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating sponsored research and collaboration agreements, as well as confidentiality, data use, material transfer and other research-related agreements.

  • Draft and negotiate customized agreements reflecting the expectations of MIT Principal Investigators and sponsors
  • Advise on the development and structure of research and research-related transactions
  • Review and propose creative solutions to sponsor requests 
  • Ensure that MIT policies are reflected in all transactions
